Every generation of marketers has a weapon of choice.

In B2B marketing, once upon a time, it was keyword stuffing, when long-tail keywords somehow passed off as a sentence. Then came banner ads that nobody clicked.

And just when we think we’ve cracked the code, the rules of the game change again.

Now half our job descriptions look suspiciously like typing into a box. We are briefing language models, building agents, generating workflows, remixing content - all through prompts.

I had to document that shift, and it needed its own space. So, Yours Promptly :)

The name came naturally. And yes, it also had to be a pun (because me).

Promptly means fast. It means honest. It ties back to the shift we’re living through.

And Yours Promptly felt like the perfect sign-off for what I want this Substack to be: (news)letters from the trenches of marketing’s next chapter, by yours truly.

If you care about B2B marketing and how day-to-day tasks are changing with AI, then you’re the ICP.

Expect notes on AI tools worth your time (and the ones you can skip), experiments with AI agents that either click or crash, and frameworks that actually matter.

And it will be, well… promptly delivered to your inbox.

Welcome aboard.

Yours Promptly,
Manu
